LIA SONESON, Co-Owner

Lia has a diverse creative skill set on the Acorn Advisors team - she focuses on recipe development, food styling, photos, and website design. With a BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University, she now happily calls Seattle home. Her favorite kitchen item is her Wüsthof Epicure 8” Chef’s Knife and her Le Creuset braiser. Lia enjoys hosting dinner parties, spending time outdoors, exploring (and eating!) her way around the globe with her husband, Björn and daughter, Svea.

SERA ROGERS, Co-Owner

Sera is a designer based in Seattle, WA. She received her BFA in Interior Design from Iowa State University, and focuses on content development, food styling, photography, and graphic design. Her favorite kitchen item is her Le Creuset 7.25 QT Dutch Oven. She likes to paint landscapes, collect art from near and far, and explore the Pacific Northwest with her husband and children.

EMY MONROE, Publication Manager

Keeping with the theme of a family business, Emy is Lia's older sister! Emy is super-organized, detail oriented, and loves digging into the technical bits and bytes that make our services work smoothly. Her favorite kitchen item is her stone sheet pan, which gets used almost every day. She lives in western Wisconsin with its changing seasons, and spending time outdoors with her husband, Tony, and their three dogs.

DANA LANDON, Designer

Dana is a freelance artist and photographer currently living in Portland, OR where she contributes design work and food photography to Acorn Advisors. Her kitchen wouldn’t be complete without her workhorse Miyabi Kaizen 8” chef’s knife. When she’s not on a culinary adventure or playing pickleball with her husband Don, Dana enjoys portrait painting, figure drawing, fiber arts, calligraphy, and photographing the everyday style of unique people during her travels.
